This site is sheer fun.

As a new member of the group I volunteered to be in charge of the website.

It is growing as is the club.

Oakleigh Cottage

A boutique website for a boutique gift shop. Oakleigh Cottage needed a beautiful sumptuous design to display its gorgeous gifts.
At the moment this is not a commercial shop though you can order by email. We decided to see how the site went and how much traffic we could drive there before paying out on the expense of a shopping cart system.

The Horse Works

This is my own equestrian site. I am aiming to teach people to bond and work with their horses gently and happily. This website is an introduction to my horse and rider training business.

Of course I had a ball constructing this site - it is full of photographs I have taken over the past couple of years of mostly my horses at play, I wondered where I could use those photographs!

Easi-paint is a small brochure site which advertises house painting tools.

It needed to be bright and simple.

I loved working on this site - mostly because it gave me a chance to do some fun illustration in the form of the pooch - Boris Yelpson.

I did all the design work for Andre in the form of business cards, letterheads etc. We've had a lot of fun.

The site was very simple and easy to navigate. The design brief was to make the concept of marketing appear fun, I think we achieved that.

The latest website development, a lot of thought and care went into designing this site to make it attractive and informative.

Cathy photographed the staff (which was a lot of fun) and suggested where possible a soft sepia theme for the images.

The design was kept simple and elegant.

The Bead Works

An offshoot of cathydee.com, this is where Cathy gets to showcase and sell her jewellery.

Oaklea Homestead is a beautiful house set in lovely country surroundings. The homestead was for sale and this site is to showcase the house.

A visually stunning website showcasing one of Central Hawkes Bay's most beautiful gardens. With photography and web design by me I had control over the look and feel of this site, wanting to evoke something of the beauty that is Trenrose Gardens.

This was a visually stunning little site for a fencing club in Gulf harbour. I was allowed free range with the design and the photographs which were sent to me.

I decided to convert them to a grainy black and white to add intensity and interest. The original colour was pretty distracting and somewhat garish.

One of Cathy's favourite web sites, this was a site where the site owner and superb glass caster Merryn Jones said those magic words - 'do whatever you like'. With imagery and design by Cathy Dee this was a site of extraordinary beauty. Due to having moved to the South Island this site is unfortunately no longer up.

Sisters Roz Patterson and Frances Manwaring needed a site to show off their very different talents. Roz is a graphic designer and artist and Frances is a writer.

Roz produced the images and Cathy threw the lot together. Somewhat of a challenge to combine the work in a single site Cathy managed to produce a site she is proud of.

Sarah Linton's site was a lot of fun combining Cathy's love of horses with her design. Of course the images on this site are not Cathy Dee images as Sarah also, is a photographer. The design however,
is all Cathy Dee.

Yertle Kicks Butt Design Co

This was my site for a few years, it has a lot more on it about my writing and drawing therefore I'll keep it on 'air'. It's also a lot of fun. I loved the name Yertle Kicks Butt Design Co but the business world I canvassed all say it's not a good name commercially. Pity.
