Physical Fitness of the Rider

Much
more important than it would seem, keeping the rider fit not only
helps your horse but helps you with your balance and stability.
Do whatever it takes to stay fit and strong - your
horse will thank you for this ;-)
The main muscle group to work on are your core muscles
- stomach and back - these keep you upright and balanced and able
to ride and stay on through almost anything.
A happy rider makes for a happy horse.
