About Me

I live in the Wairarapa on a 2000 acre sheep and beef property with my partner (I hate the word husband) Dave who is the farm manager.

We have 3 horses - Daisy, Robbie and Pride and 9 dogs - 7 of which are working dogs and my two girls Moni (a fox terrier) and Jessie (a boxer x Labrador).

Dave and I both enjoy horse riding and Dave competes at the local sports days showjumping. He used to play polocrosse, showjumped and hunted a few years ago. He also does barefoot trimming and works with the odd young or problem horse.

We have recently purchased a 100 acre property near Pahiatua and any spare time we have we are up there painting, landscaping and occassionally relaxing.
The property has a lovely garden so would be the perfect spot for family portraits and wedding photography.
In the near future I will be running herbal and aromatherapy workshops up there and doing my therapeutic aromatherapy massage for people.
At a later stage Iwould like to hold Equine Therapy demonstrations there too.

I was working with herbs and aromatherapy before I started massage on people over 10 years ago and then did my first course in massage. I experimented on Dad's horses first about 8 years ago with great results and then did a course in horse massage in 2002 though I had already started my equine aromatherapy course before that.

Ten years ago I purchased my first decent camera. I did my first wedding 7 or 8 years ago and have taken other photographs for people before then. I enjoy taking horse photos of all kinds and particularly enjoy taking action shots at rodeos.
