Snake Kissing has been granted the status of National Sport in the tiny country of Mamnhouzi.
The Olympic committee was today deciding whether to include this unusual and highly dangerous sport in its list of must see events.

Mahamoud Stan Brown, head of the Mamnhouzi Snake Kissing council, said he was ecstatic about the move, saying that Snake Kissing was a dangerous and skilled sport and that he was hoping this would go a long way to encouraging younger people to the sport as most of the older members had died sudden unexplained deaths.

Our reporter who was sent out to interview the highly venomous snakes several weeks ago has not returned with his report so we are unable to bring you their point of view.

Steve Irwin, an Australian charmer, has reported to be taking an interest in the sport as he is hoping to start up an Australian Crocodile Kissing team.
